What is the Asia Pacific STEM Education Association (AAES)?
The Asia Pacific STEM Education Association (AAES), formerly known as the Asian Association for the Education of STEM, is a non-profit organization established in 2021 by a group of passionate STEM education advocates from academia, education, and industry. With the mission to address the 21st-century STEM education talent needs, AAES promotes STEM education and serves as the sole authorized STEM certification issuer in Asia for STEM.org, the renowned STEM education association in the United States.
STEM.org Certifications
STEM.org offers five types of certifications:
For Programs: There are three categories: School Institutions, Enrichment Programs, and Websites. School Institutions: For preschools and K-12 schools to apply for a three-year certification.
Enrichment Programs: For summer and winter camps to apply for a one-year certification.
Websites: Platforms or websites about STEM content can apply.
For People: Awarded by the association's seed teachers, it is a three-year certification that can be renewed at a preferential price after three years through teaching certification.
For Products: Products developed in line with the STEM spirit can apply for STEM certification.
For Publishers: Provides certification for publications that need to be certified.
Student Certification: Newly launched in 2021, it can be applied for by teachers who have obtained individual certification and issued by sites that have obtained site certification.

How much does the certification cost? Is it permanent?
Individual Certification has a validity period of three years and includes the course fee of USD 850.
Each successful certification grants you a three-year certification with registration on the blockchain. After three years, you will need to demonstrate your STEM progress and reapply for international certification to extend your certification.
About STEM.org Accredited (For Program)
What are the benefits of STEM.org Accredited?
Gaining STEM.org Program Certification can deepen school teachers' understanding and hands-on experience of STEAM education, significantly differentiate themselves from other competing schools, and enhance parents' sense of professionalism and trust in the school.
Certified teachers within the school can explain to parents the difference between their school and other schools that have not accredited, and have physical certificates and announcements on the blockchain.
In response to the current needs of learning journeys, STEM.org has specially launched STEM Student Certification, which is applied for by teachers who have obtained STEM.org Certified (for people) and issued by sites that have accredited.
