AAES Milestones with Government, Academia and Media

From Taiwan’s Ministry of Education and K-12 Education Administration to local governments, university departments and major media — AAES drives Asia-Pacific STEM dialogue and practice with international standards.

2025.11 — Official integration with the MOE K-12 EA system

AAES completed data integration with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education K-12 EA system. All STEM.org certified instructor records can now be verified on the K-12 EA platform, raising credential trust.

2025.07 — Food Waste × STEM: the “Trash Kitchen” program with the EPA

In partnership with Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment, AAES turned food-waste recycling and circular economy themes into elementary STEM lessons — connecting daily life to science and sustainability.

2024.11 — Keynote at the Asian STEM Education Forum on “Asia-Pacific STEM Certification Ecosystem”

At the Asian STEM Education Forum in Singapore, AAES presented its experience building the regional STEM certification system — drawing attention from delegates of multiple ministries.

2024.04 — MOU signed with Tamkang University College of Education

AAES signed a memorandum of understanding with Tamkang University’s College of Education, integrating STEM.org international instructor certification as an elective in teacher preparation programs.

2024.03 — Teacher training partnership with the National Museum of Natural Science (NMNS)

In collaboration with NMNS, AAES delivered STEM teacher training combining museum collections with lesson design, supporting 80 teachers in completing professional development.

2023.12 — 2023 AAES Annual International STEM Education Forum

AAES hosted its first annual international STEM forum, bringing together STEM.org U.S. headquarters, Taiwan’s MOE and representatives from six Asian countries.

2023.07 — Selected as a recommended unit for the MOE’s “Cross-Disciplinary Integrated Curriculum Demonstration”

AAES’s STEM curriculum modules were recommended to teachers nationwide as part of the MOE K-12 EA cross-disciplinary integration demonstration.

2023.06 — Summer STEM teacher empowerment program with the Keelung City Government

Working with the Keelung City Government Education Bureau, AAES ran a summer STEM teacher upskilling camp helping North Coast educators earn STEM.org certification.

2023.05 — MOU on digital STEM education with the Institute for Information Industry (III)

AAES signed an MOU with III to jointly advance teacher training in AI, computational thinking and digital STEM teaching.
