Get to Know STEM.org Certifications Application Process

The application journey is easy, supported, and efficient:

1. Inquiry

Email hello@asiastem.org or use the contact form (at the end of this page) with certification type and basic info

2. Consultation

Our advisor outlines the process and estimated timelines, then sends the application form

3. Application

You submit team details, program outline, or product specs — depending on certification type

4. Training & Evaluation

For Educator & Program: attend workshops* might be needed; for Product/Publications: documentation review

5. Review & Feedback

Each submission goes through STEM.org evaluation with review. We share feedback and next steps

6. Certification Issued

Upon approval, you receive official STEM.org certification badge + digital record (typically 4–8 weeks)

Student Certification Access: To issue STEM.org Student Certifications, a school must first obtain institutional accreditation.
School Accreditation Requirement: A school must have at least one-third of its STEM teachers individually certified through STEM.org in order to be eligible for institutional accreditation.
Product & Publication Certification: Applicants must either be the original creators or hold official authorization from the brand or publisher to apply for product or publication certification.
Language Support: While application forms and instructional videos are available in both English and Chinese, (*) all training and workshop sessions are currently conducted in Chinese only. Applicants who require language support may arrange for their own translator during training.
Review Timeline: The standard review and feedback process typically takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the certification type and submission quality.
